Se tu fossi tells a story of unrequited love, fragility of the individuals confidence and ultimately the effort of one persons’ reach for another. The atmospheric qualities are constructed by the “ghostliness” and the blur of familiar images. The clarity can be reached through the use of candle light as focal points, where the chiaroscuro effect gives warmth in opposition to the cold plastic layers. The ‘’fragile’’ and porous bench is his attempt of finding common ground. A plane where his image of her exists, where he can finally get to her.
