Through personal interest in patterns, performative design and character developemnt,  the set for ‘‘Streetcar Named Desire’’ became a set of spaces enclosed by water curtains. They create metaphorical bubbles, challenging our perception of the characters, while simultaneously following Blanche’s patterns of dilusion and sanity continously kept through th ritual of bathing. As the play unravels, the  water curtains are filled with water, and drained, playing with light, visibility and distorted perception.
